How this website handles personal data, and your rights.

Who is responsible

What this website collects

This website has no forms, no user accounts and no cookies. It is not used to build a profile of you.

When you visit

Like any website, it is delivered by a server that receives technical information with each request: your IP address, your browser and device, the page requested and the time. The website is hosted by Vercel Inc., which processes this information on our behalf to deliver the website and keep it secure, and keeps it only as long as that requires. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (GDPR, Article 6(1)(f)).

Visitor statistics

We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, to see which pages and languages are used. It does not use cookies and does not follow you to other websites. Visits are told apart by a code calculated from the request, which is discarded after 24 hours; what is stored is anonymous and not tied to your IP address, and what we see are totals. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving the website (GDPR, Article 6(1)(f)).

Settings stored in your browser

The website keeps two small settings in your own browser. They are not cookies, and they are never sent to us:

• semvac.lang: the language you chose, so the website opens in it next time.
• semvac.intro: that the opening animation on the home page has been shown, so it does not play again during the same visit.

You can delete them at any time by clearing this website's data in your browser.

Fonts and code

Fonts, scripts, images and 3D models are served from this website itself. No content is loaded from other companies' servers when you visit.

When you contact us

If you e-mail or call us, we use the details you give us to answer your enquiry and to handle any business that follows from it. The legal basis is the steps taken at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (GDPR, Article 6(1)(b) and (f)). We keep the correspondence for as long as it is needed for that purpose and to meet our legal obligations, such as bookkeeping.

Transfers outside the EU

Vercel Inc. is based in the United States. Transfers to Vercel are covered by the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Your rights

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, and to have it corrected or erased. You can also ask us to restrict its use, or to receive it in a portable form. Write to semvac@semvac.com.

Where we rely on our legitimate interest, you can object to the processing at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation (GDPR, Article 21).

You can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), www.datatilsynet.dk.
