TV1 – Toilet module

  1. TV1 Toilet Pinch Valve

    40 years of proven excellence.

    Designed specifically for railway sanitation systems, the Semvac TV1 inlet and outlet valves are built on more than 40 years of operational experience in demanding rail environments.

    The inlet valve is fitted with a Hall sensor that sends a confirmation signal to the toilet controller whenever the valve is fully closed.

  2. Valve block Unit

    A highly durable electromechanical valve block specifically engineered for the Toilet Module, ensuring the safe operation of all pneumatic components.

    EN 45545 fire approved valve block. Replaceable fittings for easy maintenance. Valves can be replaced individually. 1/8″ inlet can be positioned either at the side or bottom.

  3. Semvac Ejector Unit

    Exceptionally low compressed air consumption.

    The ejector generates a vacuum inside the Primary Discharge System (PDS). The dedicated hose valve maintains the pressure required for discharge to the wastewater system, tank or bioreactor.

    Vacuum is generated only during the flush cycle. The ejector and hose valve are uniquely designed for use with the Semvac toilet module.

  4. Complete Flush Unit

    During flushing, a small volume of water cleans the bowl. The water pressurizer is preloaded by spring action and can therefore draw water from a reservoir located beneath the toilet module.

    The valve controls the timing and ensures that the specified volume of water is discharged into the bowl for rinsing.

Replaceable in under five minutes

Replace the unit on tracks, and maintain it in the workshop. The train keeps running while the work is done.

Three years between services

The valve technology is based on the proven Semvac pinch valve concept, developed for reliable, safe operation, low maintenance requirements, and long service life.

Tested at every flush

If the valve fails to reach the correct closed position, toilet operation is automatically interrupted to prevent unsafe operation of the system.

Sealed against odour

After the cycle, both valves return to their closed position, with the Hall sensor ensuring reliable sealing and odour isolation.
